Not since FDR will a president inherit a more fucked up economic situation
Say Obama wins, he'll have a hell of an uphill battle ahead of him with the trillions in debt, a corporate media breathing down his neck and a financial crisis from hell. He will need the support of all of us. It's going to be a hard 4 years for him.

3. It is a profound situation.
And if our leaders pursue the correct solutions we have the opportunity to entirely remake several critical sections of our social and economic systems. Just as FDR was able to move the progressive ideal forward, so too can BHO. I have hope, but not certainty.
