It was l-o-n-g, tedious, predictable, and all about Kerry (little wonder; what Bush accomplishments have they got to speak about?). The new promises sounded good....but it harkens back to the old, unkept promises of 2000. He didn't mention those prior promises, except for TAX CUTS.

The RNC was all about fear and TAX CUTS. That's what his administration is all about. Mainly tax cuts. Gimme gimme gimme. And if YOU want anything, why, you must be a communist or a socialist. Gimme gimme gimme.

So....I'm sure his base and a few others ate it up (stupid fools....and greedy corporate shills). But for the rest of us sane and thinking citizens.....in the words of Peggy Lee:
