He was interviewed by Franken yesterday. It seems that Al has found a new warmth for the guy since he has just brought a scathing new book out. The book chronicles how PINAC influenced the dim-wit into the Iraq miss adventure. Should be an enlightening read for Buchanan's followers.... Title: "Where the Right Went Wrong: How Neocons Subverted the reagan Revolution & HiJacked the bush Presidency"... An indictment of bush by one of their own darlings. Cute.

9. Know about his book, know about his magazine...

... know the whole drill. And I'm more than willing to make good strategic use of Buchanan's antipathy toward Bush and Karl Rove's Republican party. More than happy to play them off against each other in the service of our cause.

But none of that requires I suddenly develop warm, fuzzy feelings for Buchanan, or anyone else like him. It's not personal, it's political. It's okay to be a bit cold-blooded now and then. Let's save the "kumbaya" routine for some other time.
