In a dramatic change of Strategery, Bush decides to run against himself!
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 10:05 AM by Walt Starr
Last night, Bush pretended he has not been the president for the last four years. His vapid speech ran as far away from the record of the past four years as he possibly could with one notable exception. He has actually embraced the most egregious national security failure under any president in history.

Spread the meme, Bush is now trying to run against his own record!

I'm a newbie, but found DU thanks to your Ribbongate research (thank Michael Moore for the post!)

2. Exactly what I told a friend this morning....
What the freek happened during the last 4 years?$#%^&!!!

Perhaps....
1. 18,000 new terrorist recruitments and climbing.
2. Record deficits and soon to be 15 cents on every tax dollar or more for everyone in the country to finance interest payments on the debt.
3. Money propelled once again to the top of the heap, with the middle class effective wages going down and once again reduced assets compared to the year before.
4. Outsourcing of jobs and with it the American dream.
5. Health Care Savings Accounts - a mixed bag at best with no substantial gains in terms of people being covered, and completely ignorant of Kerry/Edwards common sense, business sound, and win-win approach for preventative health care.

To vote for Bush you have to fall into one of two primary classes.

#1 - Jerk off that thinks tax breaks for the rich help the economy and/or themselves.
#2 - Bush and war on terror is actually making us safer.

All the rest he talked about was mumbo jumbo....that's what it comes down to. No one really has any HOPE with W....or any real interest in any "programs" that he might try to do....it's either inherent selfish interests or pure stupidity.

4. So true...
He presented the same dreary crap in 2000 as the way to keep the booming economy booming...and now he wants to do the stuff he promised and failed to deliver on, to jumpstart the economy he killed...
