Suze Orman: Dow's bottom is "about 8200"
The SUZE thinks we still have 1000 or so points left to drop before we hit bottom.

FUCK

2. 40% pullback is a little higher...
...around 8750 or so. That's sort of typical for a full-grown bear.

4. Krugman has said for years...
that the Dow has been artificially high. I'm inclined to agree with him for the hundredth time.

5. She may be a little high in her estimate
Despite where the markets have ended up over the last year, we STILL havent had a single day you could point to and say "now THAT was a crash".

(Based on the percentage lower in any day, Even that 777 day down wasnt in the top ten on a % basis.)

7. Suze doesn't know...

No one knows.

I'm no big fan of Suze's.

If Suze was really knowledgeable about what was coming in the economy--she would have advised people to pay
down their credit-card debt and to stop spending, and to prepare for a crisis.

Every time I tuned into her, she was telling people to call the credit card companies and ask them for
a lower rate. She advised people to switch to lower interest rate cards. Her advice was good advice--if
you think keeping yourself in debt with credit cards is a good idea. She never disauded people from
using credit cards and living within their means. It was all about doing as much as you could for
yourself--while you remained enslaved to the credit-card companies.

I couldn't believe what she was saying--and that she was considered an "expert."

We've been conditioned to believe that having 4 credit cards and a couple of store cards is no big deal.

It's a horrendous way to live.

There are plenty of finance experts who are not beholden to corporations and credit cards--and they will
tell you the truth about credit-card debt--and that these companies are ruthless and they will screw you over
and steal your money.

She also did tv commercials for General Motors when they were offering their "3.9 percent for life" offers.
Yeah, Suze--let's take out a huge new-car loan. Let's encourage people to go deeper in debt and buy
expensive toys that they can't afford.

She has no credibility with me.

I'd listen to Dave Ramsey or Bob Brinker before I'd listen to anything sell-out Suze has to say.

15. The way things have been going, 8200 doesn't really seem that low.
Sounds about right to me, though.
