The districts cut a broad swath through South Florida's varied communities, including Pembroke Pines, Hialeah, Miami Beach and the Florida Keys.

In District 18, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) faces Pinecrest businesswoman Annette Taddeo (D).

In District 21, Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R) is being challenged by former Hialeah Mayor Raul Martinez (D).

In District 25, Diaz-Balart's brother Mario (R), also an incumbent congressman, faces Joe Garcia (D), former executive director of the Cuban American National Foundation.

All three Democratic challengers have outraised their Republican competitors -- with Taddeo lending her campaign money -- but the GOP'ers have the edge when it comes to cash on hand, according to the most recent Federal Election Commission reports. New figures are expected out next week.

The questions were submitted to candidates in advance.

1. Florida Rep Debbie Wasserman Schultz refuses to support/endorse the Dem challangers

Wasserman Schultz, who co-chairs the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's Red-to-Blue program, has declined to endorse the Democrats running to unseat Cuban American Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Lincoln Diaz-Balart and his brother, Mario Diaz-Balart.

Wasserman Schultz says she doesn't want to stab GOP members of her own delegation in the back. But liberal bloggers say she's killing her own while aiding and abetting the enemy.
