Poll question: If McCain & Palin say nice things about Obama in their concession speeches will you feel compassion
towards either one of them if they accept defeat humbly and if they come off as good sports right after they lose the election? You know, like if all of a sudden they say wonderful things about Obama during their concession speeches right after the election?

1. No. I won't be happy until I see tire tracks on their bodies from Obama
running them over. And then I want them both to fucking go away.

2. Only if their acceptance is followed by their swallowing Drano.
Or arsenic, or cyanide.

I'm flexible that way.

4. Consession speeches?
Your assumption that they will even give concession speeches is fallacious, if you ask me.

10. Doesn't it always happen on Election Night when the race is called?
If they didn't it would be such an incredible sign of disrespect.

20. So?
Calling Barack a terrorist is an incredible sign of disrespect.

Ask B1 Bob Dornan about concession speeches.

12. No.
And I can't picture either of them suddenly BEING good sports. McCain throughout his life always tried to suck up after he'd been caught doing something, but I don't think it will work this time, he's been exposed for the fraud that he is. Obama might be gracious to him afterward, but he knows a snake when he sees one. That's IF McCain sticks around in the Senate, which I can't picture him doing either.

13. Hell no, not one iota of compassion.
Every minute they spend on stage they purposely divide the country even further spewing their bigoted vitriol.

For someone who loves to preach bipartisanship and being someone who can bring people together, the McMaverick sure is doing everything in his power to make sure people hate Obama and are stopping short of inciting race riots.

No fucking compassion. In fact, I hope when BO takes office he appoints someone not only to nationalize elections but also to investigate potential crimes against McCain and Palin for slander and discrimination.

15. I'm still extremely angry over the theft of the 2000 election
I'm not in a conciliatory mood. I don't care who the Republican candidate is, I want that party smashed in the mouth come November and I think they owe an apology to America. I'm not as angry against McCain and Palin as I am against those American people who have put the Republicans in power. McCain and Palin are just the representative candidates of those particular Americans but they must bear the brunt of my anger and unwillingness to make nice, no matter what McCain/Palin say after they lose.

I wish we could throw her in Gitmo as an enemy combatant. Hey, maybe that can be President Obama's first act as Commander in Chief.

I will feel compassion and joy for every American that won't get fucked into the ground because these two Nazi right-wing radicals had been elected.

As for McCain and Palin and their enablers - I wish them a slow burn in hell.

Sometimes my compassion just overwhelms me................

29. Considering they won't give concession speeches, it will be tough to "feel compassion"
They could lose by a giant blue landslide and their "concession" speeches will be nothing more than another cheap political stunt, just like their entire campaign has been. It will be filled with anger, hate, and division - and that's just McCain's part. Palin's will be akin to a Nuremberg Nazi rally - a la Triumph des Willens.

It will be an utter travesty to watch - and that's exactly what they want. They want to fan the flames and ramp up the hatred and division to carry them until 2012.

in future elections. I never want to see either of their names in print again unless they are referred to as "former Senator" and "former Governor".

32. Prior to this election cycle, I may have ...
... had a little sympathy for McLame ... by all rights he should have been the GOP nom in 2000 but was screwed by the Carlyle-Rove Machine.

I'm convinced that him coming from essentially dead last in most of the primaries to be the nom this time around was his Diebold-assisted consolation prize foe being patient for 8 years. That, in combination with the craptastically lowdown way he's allowed his campaign to be run deletes any and all pangs of sympathy I may have had for him, however.

Now, the Mayor of Mooseballs? Never. Nada. Zilch. From the first second I laid eyes on her I could tell she was a mean-spirited, hateful bitch.

33. Concession speeches? I doubt they'll even call to congratulate him.
McCain will be too busy gnawing Palin's head off and she'll be too busy getting ready for 2012 to notice.
