2. Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the economy is not fading from the forefront...and I
am so glad that we threw all those billions at the AIG and the banks, etc. It really seems to have helped....NOT!!!!

12. The mention was more to say that the market of 1930 lost 31%
in one day and 40% for Sept./Oct.

The problem with the current gov't and Fed "proactiveness" is that they are operating in uncharted territory (including global effects) and really don't know what the result will be. They are winging it.

There will almost certainly be a second chance; the first trip is for traders.

Rounded bottom on lower volume indicates a possible recovery point, I'll be looking for that followed by increasing prices and increasing volume. This will probably occur over weeks, timing down to the minute or hour is not going to be an issue.

The DOW hit its alltime high of 14,164.53. It is down 37% in a year.
