McCain/Palin need to be Censured by Congress for Promoting Hate Speech, and Quickly...

If Congress were to weigh in on this Hate Speech Promotion by McCain it might bring things to a head, and shut the SOB down. He needs to be CENSURED, or at least an Attempt by MORAL Congressmen to bring this ATTACK ON A US SENATOR to the attention of Normal, Peace loving Americans.

I'm sure what he is doing is AGAINST the Senate RULES in some form or fashion.

Maybe we need to Write to our Senators and DEMAND that McCain CEASE and DESIST this INCITATION against a US SENATOR.

I'm going to start by writing to Any and ALL Congressmen in the Judiciary, Wexler, Conyers, etc and demand answers to why a Sitting Senator can Hurl HATE SPEECH, Call another Senator a TERRORIST Sympathiser..

This is beyond the Pale, and needs to end now, calling someone an Imbecile is one thing, but THIS?

Please write to your Congressmen and Women and demand this END with at minimum PUBLIC CENSURE of McCain.

Bill, I know you are aware of the smears that McCain and Palin have been spreading about Obama lately. The problem is, they are ratcheting up racial hatred in this country, and as a person who spends a great deal of time on the internet, I can tell you, some republicans are reaching a breaking point, where they are threatening Obama, and threatening riots, 'kill him', etc. and maybe it's time for them to be censured. I fear that they are getting people so worked up about a black president that something bad is on the verge of happening. Many of us in the democratic party will be contacting our Senators across the country to ask that somehow someone put a stop to what we view as ratcheting up hate crimes. PLEASE Bill, see what you can do before blood is shed.

I was out for a few hours and came back to a lot of people freaking out and I didn't know why. I hope that you are right that he has crossed a line that can be punished.

We are at war with terror. Obama is a terrorist sympathizer just like Iraq allegedly was and the Taliban. we go to war with sympathizers as if they were terrorists therefore we are at war with Obama. That's the logic of their statements so why didn't McCain not just cuff him on stage and arrest him the other night? How many nutjobs just need marching orders like this? It's such a scary time we live in.

I LIKE IT, lol.. if it was up to me (and you'd sent in the $100 entry), I'd go with that one in a heartbeat :) But we're not even going to know WHO has written the Entries, they'll be stripped of any identifying info, and in the end a panel of judges will make the call, we won't have much to do with it..

But, it makes my heart soar like a hawk my friend, I wish I could make MORE flash works, and I wish I could WORK for Obama as well, frankly I need the work, I'm literally at the point where I can't afford meds I need.. Otherwise, fair or not, they are going to come back and say that Obama is "playing the race card".

This whole issue of the "race card" just inflames some white men who go through life inisiting that reverse-racism is a huge issue and that black-white relations are OK just because we passed the Civil Rights act.

Anyway, no dobut some of these guys may be supporting Obama because for the most part, he HASN'T made race an issue in this campaign.

I would just hate for it to backfire.

Somebody on KOS posted that Colin Powell, Hagel, or some other respected Republican needs to come out against the fires McCain/Palin are stoking.

We KNOW this isn't really the 'race card', but we can't take that chance. Lets get Obama elected first. Once we pass the threshold of a first black President, we can talk more openly about race again.
