What happened with the "Great American Shout Out"
which Al Franken encouraged (people shouting out there window from when Bush took the stage last night to when he started talking)?

I listened to most of the Al Franken Show today, but didn't hear him mention it.

5. I don't get the show, either. I pick the steam up but
, frankenly, don't get it. The "scream out" was a real stellar idea, eh?

2. I screamed as was instructed....
Of course I live in the Bay Area......so I don't think those in New York heard me. I do live up in the hills though...so I went to my deck that overlooks (180 degree view of SF, Oakland) and screamed my head off. I think I was the only one.

3. Had friends over. Streaming AAR, CSPAN on the tube muted
we all went outside and it was beautiful.

we did all the ones we'd heard. Got all the dogs in the neighborhood barking.

It was great.

4. We wanted to stay around

at the Arlington Convention Center to enjoy it with many pissed off Democratic Texans at the Texas Truth convention, but I'd had a long day at work and was completely exhausted (plus we had a long drive home to the OTHER side of the Metroplex).

As we were driving down Dal-Rock Road, my husband told me not to do it. I called him a wimp, rolled down my window in the middle of majority Repuke territory, and screamed "I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!"

No telling if or how many people heard me, but it's summer, and it was a nice evening. I'm sure the number was more than a few.

Woo hoo did that feel great!
