What a strange, bipolar-esque trend we're having today. It's making my stomach do all sorts of crazy things. lol

As of this writing it's back down 126. My brain is melting. LOL!

5. No shit!!
If I thought traders on the exchange floor were behaving like rational maximizers of utility I'd be totally bewildered by their behavior. As it is, I'm pretty bewildered by it, but I don't even know why!!!

11. I'm waiting until Monday...
but at that point, unless something happens over the weekend to make me think next week is going to open badly, I'll be buying. I'm young, I have no need for the money for the next ten years, and I have a lot of catching up to get to where I should be in retirement investments for a 30 year old.

It's a great time to buy. Looking long-term, you'd need to be an idiot to not make money in this market. Everything is undervalued except banks and some retailers.

12. I had a job yanked out from under me today.
I lost my job 3 weeks ago, and interviewed with a strong company just this week. This morning, I opened an email from them saying that while they were impressed, they've decided to cancel the position. No guarantee I would've gotten it after a 2nd interview, but it's disconcerting to read that from a company that was doing well.
