I voted for Obama today in Dekalb County, GA!

And let me tell you, it was an amazing site to see. The poll workers were saying that more than 2,000 people a day are going through the early voting process at this site alone.

The line snaked through the building, and I nearly had tears in my eyes when I reached the end. I was moved by so many people taking part in the process with smiles on their faces. No one was complaining about having to wait. There wasn't a way to tell, but I believe the vast majority of people there were voting for Obama. There's no way that McCain is creating this level of enthusiasm among his supporters.

The poll workers there were doing an amazing job keeping the line moving at a brisk pace. Everyone was working quickly to make sure all paperwork was in order. When I joined the line, it looked to be more than 150 people long, but I got to vote in about 45 minutes.

If this is any indication of what Nov. 4 will be like, look out McCain - the people are uniting and we're going to take our country back!!

And I have never been so excited about casting my vote for President as I was today when I proudly submitted my ballot for Obama/Biden!

I cant' wait to vote early!!.. Did you speak with anyone while waiting? Did you see if anyone was supporting our candidate? Any hints???

But based on the enthusiasm from the crowd, I think people were overwhelmingly going for Obama.

Someone in line said that GA is expecting 90 percent of registered voters to turn out for this election. And I bet many of them will be some of the newly registered dems - which will put more dems in office down the ticket.

I voted the second day of early voting. There were probably 50 people in line ahead of me waiting to get to vote. Everything was quite organized, and all the poll workers were helful and considerate. From what I've read, the lines have gotten much, much longer, which I feel bodes well for Obama.

Tucker area. And we have more Obama signs this year than we've ever had for a Dem. candidate. It's very encouraging. My daughter is in Decatur - solid blue.

And I am thinking that I should wait until November 4th because the early voting lines have been SO LONG!!!

I think Nov. 4 is going to be crazy b/c there will be fewer folks working the polling paces. The lines for early voting are moving fast, even though they are long. They have lots of people reviewing paperwork, and around 70 voting machines.

I can't wait to do the same thing and make my vote official. Early voting begins here October 20th.

Very small line, and very fast-moving, but everyone bitched about "bureaucracy" and "government workers"

The black voters and the white voters voted on opposite sides of the room. It was eerie. I am not native Georgian, so this kind of creeped me out.
