I'm hearing a lot of people talk about it, and in a not-so-flatting-for-McCain way.

1. Yes and some a-hole
was just on MSNBC totally defending it, saying Obama's "feelings must be getting hurt".

3. Wow.
I am going to keep hoping that people are seeing this shit for what it truly is. I simply do not see this as at all helping John McCain. It will harden the wackiest of wackos in his base, but the rest will probably either be staying home on election day or voting for Obama.

6. LOL - Nobody Ever Tried To Offend A Black Guy Before

Yeah, I'll bet that race hate comes as a real surprise to Senator Obama.

Which a-hole was that?

2. Yes, they have been mainstreamed. And if we allow it to stand
we are making a mistake.

4. Probably needs a bit more exposure to sink in broadly

We tend to forget that we're ahead of the media curve on a lot of stuff.

It's reached the Salon/Rachel/Keith level, and starting to get into the major op-eds. When it hits the local newspapers, affiliate coverage at campaign stops, and water coolers, then it's gone far enough.

I'd like them to keep it up for at least another two or three days.
