Forget about the "He Can't Close the Deal" malarky...
...because I assure you, on November 5th, after winning the Popular and Electoral Vote by a higher percentage than anyone since Bill Clinton in 1992, the usual talking heads are still going to be saying that.

It's a race thing, and it may not go away for awhile. But that doesn't mean he won't become our next President.

connects enormously with his supporters, on and on. I don't get that...

8. Didn't we hear the same thing in primary season?
No offense intended to Clinton supporters, but I recall hearing that Obama could not close the deal when his eventual nomination was almost sewn up mathematically. He is in a similar position now. The odds are overwhelmingly in his favor and the wind is at his back. Is it possible for him to lose? Yes. Is it probable? Hell, no.
