Fox News' faux documentary sets new low: by the LA Times
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 10:19 PM by EV_Ares
Sean Hannity's Sunday report, 'Obama and Friends: The History of Radicalism,' relied on innuendo and guilt by association to label the Illinois senator a dupe of the shadowy forces of the left.

Now and then, Fox News makes a stab at living up to its "fair and balanced" tag line.

At other times, the cable network's operatives throw off all pretense, let their neatly trimmed hair down and do what they seem to love best -- blame all of the world's evils on those pointy-headed, America-hating liberals. Like, say, Barack Obama!

Fox host Sean Hannity and his producers served up a heaping portion of just such red meat Sunday night on "Hannity's America." And they've since been making lame defenses of the faux documentary, which bore the subtle title: "Obama and Friends: The History of Radicalism."

15. Yeah I know but
WTF? If MSNBC or CNN put a documentary out investigating McPalin's ethics problems, wouldn't the world explode?

5. Eeeww. Even Hannity must have showered to get the slime off after that interview.
Edited on Sat Oct-11-08 10:30 PM by JimDandy
Hannity has never had news worthy journalistic standards, but this sinks far below even his "entertainment" value standards. :puke:

6. I hope no one here has ever had Hannity.
Hannity –noun Pathology.

9. Make Rupert Murdoch divest himself of all assets in the US
The only reason the mother fucker became an American citizen was to own some of our airways. Make him divest himself of these assets and get the FUCK out of our country. He's not an American, anyway, and he doesn't give a shit what happens to America or Americans. FUCK HIM and FUCK FOX.

12. Does anyone know what the federal law or rules are regarding a supposedly national network or cable
news station such as Fox. It seems there must be some standards they would have to abide by. I was watching Fox at the gym the other day because it was the TV that was on near to where I was and I was just reading their little rolling or news lines at the bottom of the screen and they were absolutely all attacks, innuendos and attacks on the Dem's constantly. Referring to possible stealing and registering voters to unsubstantiated attacks on Obama.

It seems it would be simple to show this was not a unbiased news program or network and they would either have to declare themselves as such or they are in violation of some FCC license rule. I don't know and it seems the Dem's would hit them harder on this.

It is getting worse.

14. Anyone else see the one about the financial mess we are in? Complete hooey!
Blamed Frannie and Freddie for everything. Nice, leaving out credit default swaps and stuff. They really are scared now but they should realize this is good for them. With Shrub is office they constantly had to defend him, as they would have to with McCrap. With Obama they can tear him a new ahole everyday. Rush enjoyed Clinton's presidency as a talk show host more than he ever did with Shrub.
