Video: First dude campaigns in Maine...count the times they say "regular people"

Video on the right.

"She's one of us"

"She's a regular person"

they "relate to what regular people are feeling."

And about the troopergate findings...they are picking on her."

They are "trying really hard to find something on her, but she's so squeaky clean that they had to come up with something."

Todd Palin Campaigns in Maine



Todd Palin stopped for a brief meet and greet in Palmyra on Saturday. The Moosehead Trading Post hosted the back-yard barbeque style event. The self-described "first dude" of Alaska is in Maine to help the Republican party win Maine's 2nd congressional district in the presidential election and split the state's electoral votes.

Supporters at the event listened to Palin give a brief speech, during which he appealed to the interests of rural Maine outdoorsmen by mentioning the National Rifle Association's recent endorsement of the McCain-Palin ticket.

"It shows that they know that the McCain-Palin ticket is going to support the outdoorsman," Palin said. "You know Sarah and I are very active outdoors with hunting so that's a great endorsement."

Palin also said his wife and Senator McCain would lower taxes and "put government back in the people's hands."


I am sorry to say this, and I don't want to be insulting....but First Dude is not a very good speaker. :eyes:

Wow, both happenin' places.

I wouldn't be surprised to see McCain get one of Maine's electoral votes. The northern part of our state is reallly fucked up, as evidenced by these idiots.

Maine is one of those states that get to divvy up there electoral votes, right?

Wow - are they just trying to make sure they get one EV on election? This is a waste of time and resources by McCain, not saying that TAAAAAAHHHHHHHHDDDDDDDDDD is much of a resource, but still.
