They're "Praying for Obama to lose" @ McCain rally
A minister delivering the invocation at John McCain’s rally in Davenport, Iowa Saturday told the crowd non-Christian religions around the world were praying for Barack Obama to win the U.S. presidential election.

“There are millions of people around this world praying to their god—whether it’s Hindu, Buddha, Allah—that his opponent wins, for a variety of reasons. And Lord, I pray that you will guard your own reputation, because they’re going to think that their God is bigger than you, if that happens,” said Arnold Conrad, the former pastor of Grace Evangelical Free Church in Davenport.

Here are some other quotes by this "man of god"...

4. Neat.
They also prayed for rain on the DNC, and got a hurricane for the RNC. I think that means their god will give us a landslide.

7. Are they really that clueless?
Don't they understand that whatever you send out you get back -- times 3? All this spewing of hate and intolerance is coming back to bite them on the butt, and they're totally clueless. They just keep spewing it. My daddy used to say "you just can't fix stupid," and he was right.

This is karma -- you reap what you sow, buddy.

If that's the way they want to play this, well, that's their choice, isn't it? It's too bad for them, but universal truths are universal truths.

They prayed for rain on Obama and got a hurricane that screwed up their own party

17. Bingo! I agree with you, NightWatcher...
The real stupid part about all this is that they need to stop praying for bad things to happen to Obama. Look what is happening right now with Sarah Palin and lets not forget McCain himself with the Keating 5 issue resurfacing like a bad nightmare.

I know they angry and frustrated about their guy is losing but good grief... Don't they get it yet? I had hoped like many of you here had hoped that the hurricane reply as an answer for the 'Let's pray it rains on Obama's stadium speech...' would have made these poor fools realize that Karma is one interesting being that has a wicked sense of humor. If these they don't stop asking for bad stuff I wouldn't be surprised to see some new info on McCain's relationship with Keating pop out of nowhere to really screw him up. As Palin... she seems to have more problems popping up then she has kids at the moment.

"Just because He may not answer, doesn't mean He don't care...some of God's greatest gifts... are unanswered prayers..."

I think Garth Brooks said it best....

Just because you pray for something, doesn't mean its a given that its God's will.....
