Palin admits using her 7 year old daughter as a pawn. How fucked up is that
She was stupid enough to think the most hostile fans, fans in a very progressive city surrounded by 2 very blue states, would give her a break because she put a Flyers Jersey on her youngest daughter.

http://embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/10/11/palin-drops-puck-at-flyers-game-receives-mixed-reaction/

A carpet was laid down and Palin, dressed in a beige trench, walked on to the ice joined by her daughters Willow and Piper. The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, “How dare they boo Piper!”

"The Alaska governor and self-described “hockey mom” heard a few boos when she walked onto the ice, but that soon turned to polite applause as she headed to center ice with Mike Richards of the Flyers and Scott Gomez — from Alaska — of the Rangers."

2. No one wanted to sign his-or-her name to that bogus article.
The booing-to-clapping ratio seems to be about 90-10 based on the video.

3. You watch this video and tell me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd4wQd_gbj8&feature=bz303

And notice the difference between the person introduced before her, who was some local hockey mom who won a contest and then when Palin came out. Even the really loud music couldn't drain out the boos

5. I have to admit
I have watched several versions of it, and can't really distinguish overt "boos" from just a general din. I believe what those who were there say, but would need some sort of forensic audio specialist to clean up the sound for me to see that as proof.

BTW, my posting the bullsit AP article was NOT meant to endorse it - just to point out that the MSM is doing it's typical thing.

6. Try this one from the stands. The boos are extremely obvious
As is the fact that the music was turned up in an attempt to drown it out.

4. Very.
Piper's presence had nothing to do with the crowd not escalating past a loud 'boo'. Had the secret service not been there ready to haul people off, things would have been thrown onto the ice. And it was foolish of her to believe that this was enough of a deterrent to provide safety for those girls. Drunk people don't always pay a lot of heed to deterrents.

10. Her oldest child is an oxycontin junkie and the other one is an underage pregnant girl
clearly it's a parent who doesn't know how to put her kids first.
