Phone banked today undecided voters: Good results!

Today I was given a list of people who have been called before and had indicated they were undecided. Of the 44 calls I made today here are the results:

19--no answer/answering machine
15--still undecided or wouldn't say who they were for
7--said they have decided on Obama
3--said they have decided on McCain

It might seem to some to be a waste of time, but yeah, we do get lots of no answers or answer machines, but among those who were undecided but made up their minds and were willing to tell me of their choice by better than 2-1 they selected Obama!

P.S.
Yes, I do think people who are STILL undecided are in many cases attention seekers.

3. like I say I think a lot of the people who say they are undecided just like the attention.

A lot of them I think are older, too, and this is a total surmise on my part, but maybe a little lonely and so they like getting the calls and mail.
