2. Um... black folks have already demonstrated that they're not stupid enough to vote for a race-baiter
The media can just give THAT line of attack up, in their neverending quest to make a horserace.

3. The thing is...
this is NOT going to work on Black people, esp. not this year. If trotting out a Black face was enough to sway Black voters, Alan Keys would have been the Republican nominee the years he ran and Michael Steele would be in the senate. The Democratic party carried over 80% of the Black vote in the years they had white Presidential nominees, they WILL have over 90%, maybe over 95% this year with a Black nomineee and there is NOTHING Mr. Harris and the Republican party can do about it. And they know it.

I don't know what impact its supposed to have on White voters, but, I doubt anyone who cares about Black people will suddenly see John McCain as the answer. And those who don't, weren't going to vote for him anyway.

7. He is a hired Uncle Tom. He's been trying to get on TV for years
now. Why they would cover this son of a bitch is beyond me! One black person does not speak for all black people. They have been looking for an Uncle Tom for awhile now. I hope his ass ventures off into Milwaukee or the south side of Chicago with that shit. He's an ignorant fucking ass hole sent to perform fo masta!

9. How about Oliver Clark for equal time?
<snip>

"How did I feel about Sen. McCain stating “You probably never heard of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac before this.”
Well Senator, I actually did. I like to think of myself as a fairly intelligent person. I have a bachelor degree in Political Science from Tennessee State, so I try to keep myself up to date with current affairs. I have a Master degree in Legal Studies from Southern Illinois University, a few years in law school, and I am currently pursuing a Master in Public Administration from the University of Memphis. In defense of the Senator from Arizona I would say he is an older guy, and may have made an underestimation of my age. Honest mistake. However, it could be because I am a young African-American male. Whatever the case may be it was somewhat condescending regardless of my age to make an assumption regarding whether I was knowledgeable about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

FULL POSTING:

Ok I usually do not participate in blogs, but I have been receiving a lot of questions so here’s what happened:

1. How did I get to participate in the debate?
Well, as many of you know I went to undergrad at Tennessee State University. (Go Tigers) I have a Nashville area code for my cell phone. So the Sunday before last, I received a call from the Gallop Poll. They asked a few questions regarding my choice in the Presidential election. They asked who I would vote for. I said most likely I would be voting for Barack Obama. They followed with, “is there any chance that you would change your mind“? I said “Of course anything is possible.” They then asked me as an uncommitted voter would I like to participate in the Town hall debate. I said “Of course!”

They told me the selection process was totally random, and I was called. I think about a 120 people were chosen to be apart of the town hall, but only 80 would be on stage. Out of the eighty people chosen to sit on stage I was number 78!..

11. If anyone ever doubted, Mr. Harris is all about getting free publicity for himself.
It should be clear to everyone now. It's despicable. One blog I frequent, the Field Negro, had a post saying that "House Negro" is too good a term for Mr. Harris, so the blogger thought about it, and decided the best term for him was Slave Catcher.

12. good grief. I just saw that he was going to be on again at 10 (on CNN, live)
I flipped to Fox for giggles, and Huckabee had on an African American preacher who had endorsed McCain/Palin in the pulpit today, and was asking "Were the people in the audience ANGRY about this?", or something to that effect. Sure, the majority of African Americans are Democrats, but why is the media obsessing over African American Republicans lately? CNN has also been replaying the segment about the three African American men who are voting for McCain, over and over this week . Like, who cares? What makes them special?
