Also, I talked to quite a few locals in my hometown this weekend who were voting for Obama, and even some lifelong Republicans who said they wouldn't even consider voting for McLame and Caribou Barbie. I will be so houseproud when the Mountain State elects a Democratic President. Just like in the good ol' days!

5. I was trying to parse that too. I thought maybe it was sorta like "sofa king"....
But I couldn't make any sense of it.

7. Being proud of where one is from..........
the literal definition is to be proud of one's home and belongings (obviously), but I use it in a fairly loose sense to mean I will be a proud West Virginian if we elect Obama. The writer in me loves to turn a phrase.

Many areas are majority Democratic but they have been duped by the corporate media into voting for the criminal republicans.

Enough people have come to their senses to make WV blue.

I hope to see the ignorant racist assholes become extinct in the state.
