Mary Beth will join Susan Estrich on Fox after the 2004 coup.

My last post about this got deleted. Something about me being sexist cuz I think "Mary Beth" is in no position to be telling Kerry when and how to fight. If Dirk Manly-Man Squarejaw was running the campaign and the unmitigated disaster that is the last 2 months of this campaign unfolded exactly the same, I would say that about Dirk Manly-Man Squarejaw.
My question was, why is there this insane following of tradition to put ones eggs all in one basket, i.e., the insane policy of naming ONE person to head a campaign for the position that CHANGES THE ENTIRE F***ING WORLD? WE did not vote Mary Beth in. WE did not nominate her.
Why not do something that would work...get three or four REAL NASTY THUGS (men or women) and one socially acceptable, but mouthy, fact- filled spokesperson, to co-chair the damn campaign? Letting the fate of the world rest on these damn unelected, un-nominated one-person campaign-heads is wrong on so many levels.
Sorry, but you KNOW Kerry should be 15-20 points ahead. He is letting Mary Beth tell HIM when and how to fight.
We did not choose Mary Beth on whom to rest our hopes that this ONE person knows how to fight.
The speech today means they are JUST NOW finally getting it. Which means there is no innate political intuition that will see Kerry thru. Just NOW(!!!???) getting it? Oh Christ.
