I know. I suck. But something I just saw is bothering me. McSame proclaims that Teddy Roosevelt is HIS HERO. Then he quotes him. "Walk softly, Talk softly and carry a big stick".

OK, People misquote all the time. But I have known that quote since first grade (I attended Roosevelt Elementary, you see) and it's NOT "talk softly". It's as he first tried to state it and then "corrected" himself. "Speak softly and carry a big stick". (http://www.bartleby.com/59/12/speaksoftlya.html)

As I said, people misquote all the time and for that alone I don't fault anyone. But how many people misquote the best known quote of his or her own personal hero?

Maybe I'm too cynical, but it just looks to me like just another of McSame's lies when he calls Roosevelt his hero.

A small bone to pick, I know, but it's bugging me.

That is all.

With McCain there is just no there, there. The supporters rarely say what he would do for America.
