22 freaking points.

Read it and weep, freepers.

http://www.news-leader.com/article/200881013043

A new poll conducted by Survey USA for two media outlets in St. Louis and Kansas City shows Attorney General Jay Nixon leading U.S. Rep. Kenny Hulshof in the race for governor by 22 points, 56-34.

Three weeks ago, the same polling firm found Democrat Nixon to be leading Republican Hulshof by 17 percentage points."

-snip-

"That poll shows Obama leading Republican John McCain, 51-43. Just three weeks ago, McCain led Obama by 3 points.

The same poll says Obama is gaining his new margins among white voters. Three weeks ago, McCain led Obama among white voters by 11 percent. Now they're tied, according to SurveyUSA."

5. Get out the vote efforts
If there are two competive well funded races. Get out the Vote becomes bigger and people who don't like the Presidential or Gubernatorial candidate can work for one of two big campaigns.

4. I will cautiously embrace this poll, but I'm still leary of SUSA. They currently
show McCain with 16% AA support in Alabama? I mean, WTF?
