I knew I remembered hearing Chuck Todd say that on October 15 we would know who was going to win. He said that where the race was on October 15 was where it was likely to stay. So I went to google and found this post on Dailykos that referenced it.

5. Yup. I remember him saying that. And I'm sure he believes it, which is why he's doing his
best to make it look like it's possible that McCain will make a dramatic comeback since, afterall, McCain has Obama exactly where he wants him! :rofl:

15. Well, the last debate is tomorrow, and if Gramps doesn't get any sort of bounce from that
then it ain't likely he'll do anything else that would get him any gains.

And given his first two debate performances, that ain't likely. No matter how hard Schieffer tries to rig it for him.
