5. I just hope Obama will be given the time to defend himself.
...During the last debate McCain was able to spread lies and Obama was told he had to go on to the next question.

I'm hoping Obama can corner McCain with something like how McCain not only voted "yes" to the Iraq War Resolution, he co-sponsored it.

6. He could set his guitar on fire
and bite the head off a bat.

That would be a game-changer, you betcha.

7. McCain will likely bring up the following topics:
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 08:01 PM by DCBob
-- Obama's birth certificate
-- Larry Sinclair
-- The "whitey" tape

If none of that works he will collapse on the floor and begin sobbing "I was a POW".

9. McCain's Own Birth Certificate!!!
McCain won't dare bring up the Obama birth certificate tale since he, himself, was born in the Canal Zone in Panama. McCain was born BEFORE the law was made stating that babies born in the Canal Zone were to be considered natural born citizens.

8. Mccain's last chance. Thursday morning, the endorsement train starts
Let's be clear on this... a lot of Republicans will want to cut their losses and throw mccain/palin under the bus. The RNC itself may want to cut losses after the debate.

Mccain has to do the impossible:

1. make the personal attacks look like something worth bringing up

2. get back on the economy subject, and suddenly look more serious on economics than obama

3. regain trust and confidence to such a degree, that folks forget/forgive the last 2-3 weeks

4. beat the high expectations for him

10. Obama is ready for ANYTHING!
Hey, he's about to take over the greatest nation in the world at the worst time in history, when EVERY person in America will have to sacrifice a little or a lot over the next four years.

Thank God, he will have a steady hand, and a hundred or two brilliant minds to advise him.

Thank God he would NEVER launch a war on a nation that never attacked us, and keep that war going for over 5 years!

Thank God he understands the economic principles of a civilized society, and the ways an unregulated banking, insurance, and stock market, and futures speculation system needs reasonable constraints and regulations!

DON'T WORRY about Obama.......worry about Sarah Palin inspiring wing-nuts to take out their rifles, and xenophobic idiots to take out their Automatics.

Sorry, but I think we probably have more nuts wandering this nation than we did 8 years ago......I will breathe free on Jan 21, when Obama is in the White House, at long last.
