2. The Catholic Church is still in the f-ing STONE AGE! My mother and I BOTH quit when I was 14

(a long time ago) and started racing motocross. Gotta have your priorities straight, y'know? :^)

8. Most DUers prefer that some amount of copy from the story be included

DU follows the fair use rule, which allows you to use 4 paragraphs of the original story here at DU so we can get the flavor of the story .... That way, we wont give the linked website extra hits if they dont deserve our support ...

When you dont post text, if forces us to give them a hit, which increases their income ... Many times, we just dont want to do that ....

10. Most catholics I've known will defend their religion BUT still decide for

themselves whether the pope & bishops have a clue what they're talking about.
Like the birth control pill, for instance.
I know more Catholic women who have taken the pill and still believed they were 'good' with their God afterall.

Its a matter of women's issues and the men who make the rules.
