Will Republicans Flee To Iraq If Obama Is Elected? Its The Right Wing's Canada!
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 10:54 PM by Median Democrat
Here is my take on why Republicans may flee to Iraq if Obama is elected, and why it is to Conservatives what Canada is to Liberals:

1. Iraq's economy is based on oil, so they are free to drill here, drill now, and pay less.
2. Religion dominates politics.
3. There is no ACLU to bitch about civil liberties.
4. Environmentalists are unlikely to hassle them.
5. There is little government interference, since they are always flirting with anarchy.
6. No socialized medicine.
7. No social security.
8. No medicare.
9. No barriers to teaching religion in school.
10. They can stay in Iraq forever, and Democrats won't conmplain.
11. No restrictions aganst government surveillance.
12. No restrictions against torture.
13. Government can practice censorship, so liberal bias can be erased.

1. When US soldiers shoot at a car because the driver didn't stop...
...in response to a US soldier waving at the car, that is a form of "government interference."

4. 11.Practically everyone owns an automatic weapon.
12.It's a free-market paradise! Virtually no government regulation of any kind.
13.No worries about gay marriage--in fact you could probably stone gay people and get away with it.
14.You could make your wife wear one of those sacks.
15.Sex with goats? No problem!

5. Iraq seems like a perfect fit
and I'm sure they could use some additional population after this many years of war.
