3. I've been hoping they would do this.
Must be the October surprise! I think Americans are waking up and realizing that Obama is going to CUT their taxes and McTroll is going to raise them.

9. They should not require people to join the email list to get the info.
Great idea but a bit too intrusive for undecideds.

16. Actually the same for 200,000-250,000
If you itemize, no cut. If you don't, about $800

I still think Obama is fairer.

This is awesome.

17. www.electiontaxes.com
Here is an independent site where you can go into even more detail, its pretty well done from what I can tell.

http://www.electiontaxes.com/

people should spread this link or the taxcut.barackobama.com link as much as they can, post it all over the wingnut boards even and all over the foxnews.com boards. I'd say 99% of those wingnuts would actually pay less in taxes under Obama than they would under McCain but they just try to ignore that fact and keep claiming the opposite. It needs to be rubbed in their faces.

19. I'd like to think I contributed a small portion to this
I e-mailed the campaign with survey usa poll results showing a ridiculous number of people believing that Obama will increase their taxes while McCain will decrease them. I sent them a link to http://obamataxcut.com/ and said they need to make a version of this on their website and publish it in a campaign e-mail.

Today I received

Dear Abacus,

American families are in desperate need of economic relief.

Barack's plan will cut taxes for 95% of families. John McCain will provide billions in tax breaks for big oil companies and giant corporations with no relief for millions of middle-class Americans.

Barack is calling for three times the tax cuts for middle-class families.

Find out what this means for you and your family -- use our new tax calculator:

Use our new tax calculator

With our country facing the most serious economic crisis since the Great Depression -- over 760,000 jobs lost this year, unemployment skyrocketing, and retirement losses exceeding $2 trillion -- we need to take immediate steps to recover.

Yesterday, Barack unveiled his Economic Rescue Plan for The Middle Class, including special measures for job creation, a moratorium on foreclosures, and increased tax relief for families.

As president, Barack will provide a new $1,000 tax cut for workers and new tax benefits to help families pay for college, childcare, and save for retirement.

See how these plans would affect you and your family -- and forward this email so others can also calculate their taxes:

Thanks,

Obama for America
