The quick moves of the Independents stopped when Obama looked Presidential in the midst of Economic collapse.

3. I expect the final result of the election to be Obama by 8.
If he is actually ahead 14 now, the media will try to narrow it by being uniformly anti-Obama between now and the election, but that won't get much done. Obama still beats McCain by more than Bush beat Dukakis.
