The CNN AIP segment yesterday--"same ideology as those who blew up the Murrah Building"
If THAT doesn't get across to the average viewer who Palin's associates with, nothing will.
Sanchez asked if these 2 groups were similiar...the Salon guy responded yes, they have the same ideology.

5. Tim McVeigh's mentor IS a AIP member

Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma bomber, got his start with the Michigan Militia.
Norman Olson, the founder of the Michigan Militia moved to Kenai Pennisula (near Was'illa) in 2003
Normal Olson is a member of the AIP, Alaska's secessionist party
The Olsons and Palins have ties that date back to the late 1990's
Olson is a supporter of McCain and has written about his admiration for Palin in local newspapers.

Secessionist supporters and members of known domestic terrorist groups are attending McCain/Palin rallies. They accuse gov't of forming a new world order. This phrase has been heard at Palin rallies. Listen for more in days to come.

11. great work and research riverwalker
Apparently, the official logo for AIP is a polar bear with the big dipper.
Now, McWolfKiller sometimes wears a polar bear pin, and people are trying to get a close-up shot to see if it is indeed the AIP logo.
I saw one photo, but it was too fuzzy to make out any details.
We need to keep on investigating.
This makes the Ayers bullshit look like a Sunday School picnic.

ALANSON - Norm Olson, co-founder of the Michigan Militia over a decade ago, and Mary, his high school sweetheart bride of 40 years, are selling virtually everything and moving to Nikiski, Alaska, overlooking the salmon-rich Cook Inlet, as a new beginning.>
<Now in their late 50s and with the militia experience behind them, the Olsons will set off next week to join dozens of their Michigan friends and relatives who have preceded them to Nikiski, where the Olsons own a spacious cedar lodge on the Kenai Peninsula.>

6. It will be interesting (to say the least) to see
if there's any more reporting on it.
Rick Sanchez received a letter from McEvil's campaign right as he began his report, advising him not to air it. He then read the letter to his viewers.
If their threats got to him and he caves, we might not ever see a follow-up.
It was a stunning, lengthy exposure of the Palin's connections to AIP.
I wrote him and encouraged him to keep at it and keep digging.
Here is his e-mail address: ricksanchez@cnn.com

The reply they sent back said they read each and every e-mail.
Sanchez said they were being overwhelmed with mail.
I'll echo you, nc4bo:

18. Thanks for the Sanchez email addy
I wrote and let him know that the AIP chairpersons were my Sister and Bro-in-law.. I lived in Alaska for 12 years, mined gold with these people, knew Joe Vogler,etc.. And offered to be interviewed .. I've been on O'Rielly's show, Scarborough's twice, as well as Lou Dobbs..

Should be interesting if he wants the real scoop from someone who's been there.. :)

22. That might depend on what I say :)
I happen to know for a fact that some of the Salon article is untrue, some impossible, and there's some shoddy reporting in there, enough for me to not take the article seriously, which is a shame because I want to believe it..

Also, someone needs to put a human face on these people, as wacky as they sound some are very nice folks that find this govt distasteful as we do, of course WE aren't connected with some of the scumbags they are linked to, either..

And I find the McVeigh connection very disturbing..

But I plan on being patriotic, unless McPalin steal it, then maybe secession may not sound so awful :)

13. Same ideology as McVeigh and General Robert E. Lee. In other words, TREASON. Not
Vietnam War protest that involves breaking and entering and damage to property, but TREASON. Choke on that, McCain-Palin and your supporters. TREASON.

25. I just sent this entire thread to Rick Sanchez.
Sent the entire thing to Rick, told him to keep up the good work and not let McCain silence him, that it was obivious he'd hit a nerve. Also told him that DU had been on this story for several months and that we could be a very valuable resource for him.
