Looking at the RCP Electoral Map, one of the most conservative out there...
If on election night we win Ohio and Virginia, it's all over but the cryin'...

According to RCP, Obama now has 238 Solid EV. Add Ohio to 258. Add VA to 271...

Game over.

Even if McCain were to run the rest of the leaning and undecided states, he can't win...

If we win the leaning, well, were talkin' landslide baby...

2. Seriously, I would lean more toward VA being the Wild Card and
not so much NC. I could be wrong and we take all four, but an early indication might come from these states and make the rest of the night so sweet.

Contratry to popular belief, I think Ohio has got their act together. A good trail run in the primary and early voting will help on Election Night.

3. Good points
Earlier I said I did not expect this one to be called by 11pm Eastern as too many big close states would be left. However as some of the weak have become solid for Obama and most of the leaning have become weak, then assuming we stay about where we are now in polls (that's still not a sure thing of course) I will recant and say that we could indeed have an early night.

And we jolly well should!

The economy's in the toilet...

McCain has NO answers on how to fix it...

He wants to talk about Ayers...:eyes:

Landslide sure sounds good to me!

5. Where do you get 238 solid?
According to RCP he has 249 solid. Add Minnesota (+8) 2259. (+10) in Virginia in latest polls and that puts him over at 272. He doesn't even need Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri
