Did Sarah Palin REALLY say "You betcha" at some point?

Also did Sarah Palin ACTUALLY say she could see Russia from her office/house/etc?

I ask because It's getting really hard to distinguish her from Tina Fey and other's portrayals.

She said "You betcha," but she never said she can see Russia from her house. But she DID say that you can see Russia from parts of Alaska, so there isn't much difference. Tina Fey added the "from my house" bit.

8. I don't think the Russia comment is 100% accurate

She said she could see Russia from Alaska, then it got turned into, I can see Russia from my house by Fey.

"You betcha!" was said at the debate with this quote:

"Go to a kids' soccer game on Saturday and ask . . . how are you feeling about the economy?' You betcha you're gonna hear some fear."

9. Thanks--it appears as "I'll bet you" in the NY Times transcript.

What's interesting is that even among her Republican admirers, it's become the goto catch-phrase for imitating her. She only said it once.
