They know McCain is going to lose, but even I think he'll get more than 110 EV's (although I won't complain if he doesn't! :D). Seems to me that Dick Morris is trying to set the expectations lower so he can later say how much McCain has turned around the election when he gets 150 instead of 110.

Can't blame me for assuming Dick Morris has sinister motives.

Yes -- that's exactly what it is. This way, if Obama gets in the low 300s (which I think is more realistic) and the dems gain 7 Senate seats instead of 10-12, they'll spin it as a kind of moral victory for the GOP.

Where is he getting THAT data from? I've been trying to find the latest polling numbers for this state, the last I saw was M-55, O-39, from Sept 21. South Dakota hasn't voted blue since LBJ in '64.
