4. Ari's making a huge understatement
At one level, he's right; I believe in yesterday's "Daily Widget" post by Phrigindumass (I probably spelled it wrong -- sorry) there is a a great graph (by a HS kid, no less) correlating McSame's downaward polling with the S&P 500; but for McSame to even have a shot -- the market would have to have the Dow rise like a thousand points a week and get back up toward 12,000. The Market is down almost half a grand today (419 as I write). I don't see it happening.

6. Ari was in prime denial mode it was funny
His Obama hasn't had the harsh spot light on him Palin's had was down right laughable. He non-reality reminded me why no one in the current White House should ever be allowed near the White House again. These people are dangerous.

13. Unfortunately, Fleischer has always had that effect on me too.
I'm a non-violent person, but some people just push all the wrong buttons.

14. I also have that reaction with Lieberman and Palin, too.
Those two ... :grr: ... Word can't describe my contempt for them.

15. To me he was always the smarmiest most douche baggy press secretary.
He made McClellan look like Bill Moyers.

9. The stock market hates McCain.
It's uncanny. Every time he sticks his toe into economic matters, it crashes.

"I'm suspending my campaign to come save the day"...CRASH.

"I'm taking credit for the bailout"...CRASH.

"Take a gander at my new and improved economic plan!"...CRASH.

It's a coincidence I'm sure, but a damned funny one.

10. Ari was awful. Just awful. What a right-wing tool.
Jon was WAY too nice to him. Fleischer came across as a far right wingnut. I never liked the guy, but was frankly surprised to see him be such an ass.

He loves Palin, by the way.
