Poll question: Will McCain bring up William Ayers
Remember... the question is will McCain bring up Ayers, not Obama, not the moderator? Him and him alone?

3. If he does, it proves he's an idiot & an asshole.
If he doesn't, it proves he's an idiot & a coward.

7. Bob Schieffer should not bring it up because Ayers has nothing to do with the economy
AFAIK this was always scheduled to be a debate about the economy.

9. I don't think McCain will pull that trigger.

Obama has plugged the barrel on that gun, and it will blow up in McNutso's face if he tries it.

I do think he will try some other below-the-belt attack, in hopes of catching Obama off guard. Prediction: It won't work, and will dig him deeper into the hole.

10. It would be stupid if he did
Obama dropped that gauntlet for a reason. He's got an answer he'd dying to throw out given the opportunity. If McCain goes there, it's proof he's never played chess in his life.

Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 01:34 PM by McCCain4retirment
McCain will probably go:

"Obama associated with a past terrorist Bill Ayers, but obama is still a very good man with family values who is capable of being president of the united states"

12. He'll bring it up. He said he would.
After making a big deal about announcing he'll mention it, he'll look like the biggest chickenshit coward in the world if he doesn't.
