When was the last time McCain won a news cycle?

I'm guessing it was a couple days after the RNC.

Since about September 10th or so, Obama has won EVERY SINGLE DAY.

The old phrase... "if you're explaining, you're losing"... hasn't applied to Obama in quite a while. Meanwhile, McCain has been 'splaining away something different every day.

McCain's been perpetually on defense for a month. When has Obama had to be on defense about ANYTHING lately?

Ayers? Nope... Obama just sidestepped it and it boomeranged back on McCain, putting McCain on the defensive again.

It has been awesome to watch.
