2. I love David Shuster.
He constantly brings up things that the other anchors don't, and he tries to challenge both sides.

7. Hell, I want Shuster to get the coveted...
"Meet the Press" chair. I know - long shot. But he is a journalist, and that's what "Press" used to mean. Remember? Me, either.

13. He is considered too much of lightweight ... honestly I hope they can bring Katie
She is much better at probing and challenging than anyone that I can think off .. She'd also rather do that than reading from a teleprompter..

15. I'm sorry, but did you just call David Shuster...
a lightweight? And then bring up Katie Couric? Never mind that she works for CBS, but she's not what I'd call a heavyweight in the journalism field.

11. I like when he makes fun of Fox now...I don't think those were the best days for him.
Here's something he said a couple of years ago that made me laugh (he was already at MSNBC at this point)

http://www.journalismjobs.com/david_shuster.cfm

JournalismJobs.com: Back to Fox, in one of your blogs in mid-October, you referred to Fox News as the 'partisan worst' in broadcast news. Why is that?

David Shuster: I'll just let that comment stand. I think it's not that difficult for people who watch Fox compared to other news organizations to be able to tell what the difference is.

6. and on another note
does anyone just cringe whenever they see those lame "country first" flags, in the background of the McCain spokespeople? It's hideous...if you do that to a flag, you don't put country first :)

10. The real gag reflex for me is seeing palin
behind a podium with Country First:puke: Had to see that on Jon Stewart's last night when he was showing their hate rallies.
