45. RNC throws McCain under the bus
Without Wisconsin, Michigan, or PA, there is almost no conceivable scenario where McCain can win. This RNC move is effectively an admission that McCain is toast and the RNC has to put their resources behind down-ballot candidates.

Oh, the sweet irony of it! http://www.electoral-vote.com has MS as a WEAK REPUB STATE! I never woulda thunk it.

If McLame has to defend a state like MS, he's in deep doo-doo.

73. ... and in Tennessee. (Praise the Goddess)
I hope all y'all saw the total smack-down and domination of Obama supporters over the (maybe two) Rethug supporters who made it into the background at the second debate. When even Tweety says that he couldn't see a McLame sign anywhere (and he said it on the network), Nash-vegas did itself proud.

And it's not just the big cities. My closest Republican friend here in rural TN cannot -- CANNOT -- defend the Palin decision. He doesn't even try. It's one thing to pander to your base -- it's another to forget that there are still some Republicans who don't care much for being embarrassed.

I go tomorrow to vote early. And the next time we vote for any federal official here in the Orange State (2010), it will be on paper, with mandatory manual audits.

GOBAMA. YOU BETCHA.

4. The only part that even comes close to bothering me is a renewed focus on Colorado,
given it's role in a number of Obama win projections, but given the average Obama is polling at there (5 or 6 points) it'd be hard to imagine they can flip it in time.

42. one of the things the obama camp has shown us so far....
...is that they really know how to run a campaign.

from what i've seen, they've made very few mistakes and they've made some killer moves. every misstep McDipshit makes gets amplified.

i really hope we can get the lead in the national poll to 20% before the 4th. i would love to see a landslide. the only thing better than a lndslide will be to hold 60 senate seats after election day.

as we near election day, i'd like to remind each and every one of you that republicans are scum sucking, fascist bootlicking, corporate whoring, human garbage. let's take out the garbage and burn it at the polls this year!

40. It doesn't say McCain pulled out, but it does say his campaign
planned to continue.

McCain's campaign has notified Wisconsin stations that it planned to continue to buy air time through Oct. 26.

This is a little curious for a campaign obviously strapped for money and way down in the polls.

A poll in Wisconsin by Quinnipiac University of New York for The Wall Street Journal and the Web site of The Washington Post, taken after last week's presidential debate, had Obama at 54 percent and McCain at 37 percent.

"Like most campaigns, we don't talk strategy and tactics," said McCain Wisconsin spokeswoman Sarah Lenti. "That said we are extremely excited by our chances in Wisconsin and will continue to run ads, period. We are up and running."

Hey, the RNC pulled out, which means they gave up on McCain in that state.

I read that part of the money the GOP was borrowing in their 5 million dollar line of credit was going to defends Collins' seat. God, I hope McCain takes her with him when he packs up and leaves Maine for good!

Please urge everyone you know in WI to check and re-check their voter registration ASAP.

Then do it again next week, too.

Don't let up your guard now, at this late stage.

There's still time for them to steal it... if we let them.
