another great outcome of this election and an Obama win....
...is showing this country and the world that intelligence, honesty, subtlety and thoughtful discussion MATTER and WIN. That we don't always have to cower in fear. That Rovian tactics don't always work. That we can be strong with our words and intellect and don't have to stoop to the lowest common denominator.

2. The Rovian tactics aren't working because Obama has tough Dem surrogates

standing with him and getting his message out, not a Democrat is siding with McCain like many sided with Bush.

And people are sick of the lies, smears and the the political climate is different than elections past. We are now in post Iraq Civil War, post Katrina, post home foreclosure, post 3.00 a gallon, post economy in the toilet, post Schiavo, and so on.

Obama is a smart man and has a lot of help and support, and he is going to win. I am for helping him get his positive, hopeful message out, not kicking people (i.e. former Dem nominees and one of his best surrogates) to the curb by saying that they weren't "tough" because they didn't "win."

Just saying.
