I'd love to read it. :-)

1. I imagine people have been taking notes all through the campaign, and fingers will hit the keyboards
as soon as November 5th rolls around.

And isn't Edward Norton filming a documentary about the Obama campaign?

3. Learning from the past is crucial, because that's how he'll
govern too.

4. I bet this campaign will be studied for years to come
it is one of the most organized campaigns of our lifetimes. It has used new and old technology - Obama has the "it" factor. Its like the iPod being so popular and no one has been able to knock it off its pedestal. Yes McCain has been awful at his campaign - but Obama has been brilliant.

I suspect there will be more than one book . . .
and that there will be books about both campaigns. I am actually interested to read about the in-fighting, etc., etc., in the McCain campaign.

5. i don't think there can be any textbook written on this election
Obama is like a JFK. You can't run a JFK style campaign with Mike Dukakis. You need the show pony, for lack of a better term, to draw people in. Obama is singuarly the most interesting and likeable candidate we've put up for president, possibly ever.
