Rahm Emanuel looking at Obama's Senate seat.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is reported to be privately talking about Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the House Democratic Caucus chairman, as the next senator from Illinois if Sen. Barack Obama wins the presidential election.

To be honest ....I'll pass, thanks.

1. Whoever Barack chooses...
will win. Assuming of course he's in the White House (crosses fingers). Anyway, Pelosi and Emanuel can hope all they want, but it's up to Barack. Barack has tons of clout in Illinois. They don't.

2. Obama gets to make that choice? I didn't know that. And how bad
would Emanuel be, do you think? I guess we'd have to know who the competition would be.

9. I think the Gov. picks who gets the seat.
Of course Obama could tell him who and what.

Jeese Jackson Jr. wants the seat, Tammy Duckworth would also be a great pick.

Knowing Blogo, he will pick himself.

6. He's best friends with David Axelrod, is close to Obama and he's a real pitbull minus any lipstick.
I like the idea. :)

12. If you like professional politicians, he's your guy
However, if you like your politician to have principles, ideals, and to be committed to the Democratic platform, you'd be better off supporting an Orange Traffic Cone.

13. Yeah, I like professional politicians like our Democratic nominee, Barack Obama.
If you think you'd do a better job, then run for office.
