1. My apolitical best friend...
who will not vote, and who I cannot even talk into voting (the most stubborn human being you've ever met), emailed me, angry, about her health care benefits possibly being taxed by McCain. The most political I've ever seen her is her emailing me today, 'I really want Obama to win.' I've debated breaking off my friendship with her for years every time an election comes around, but can't. She's really a good person, but I can't respect her for refusing to vote.

2. My condolences... : )
I have one of those 2...I stopped talking to her about politics after our discussion of erratic was equal to being called a terrorist...and THEN she said "That's why I never vote!"

3. Try to get this one to take responsibility
for their own future and get to the polls.

She is seeing that politics has a very real impact on day to day living.

4. McShame did admit tonight that he would tax healthcare benefits O.o
He said it quickly and softly, but none the less admitted it. -pretty shocking to me, since he had dismissed that before- just as palin had in the vp debate.
Mccain's healthcare policy is asinine to me.
