Obama, McCain On Infidelity (CBS)
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 11:57 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
The infidelities of Elliot Spitzer, Bill Clinton and John Edwards all became public knowledge. Katie Couric asks the presidential candidates why they think prominent politicians cheat.

Once again compare and contrast.

2. Did that question touch a nerve with McBlinky?
Was he afraid Katie was going to ask a question about Vicki Iseman?

3. yeah .... that whole verse about "Judge not" is WAY over used...
... the scripture is talking about judging the ultimate fate of someone's soul, not calling someone out on their unrepented sin which the Bible admonishes us to do.

Which is why I have no trouble calling John McCain out on being an unrepetant adulteror.

However I am FAR more concerned with this new knowledge that Barack Obama occasionally has a booger. This totally destroys my notion of his being perfect ..... how can I vote him now?

In all seriousness, how can the whole nation not love Barack Obama as much as we do. The question of marital fidelity comes up and the worst thing he admits to is the occasional need to pick his nose.

It's like Beaver Cleaver grew up and decided to run for president.

Awesomeness ....... he's just 100% pure awesomeness.

4. McCain Looked Uncomfortable While Obama Looked Amused. Wonder why?
Obama seemed like he was thinking about something else *cough* McCain's own affair *cough*, but he kept his answer brief and personal. McCain seemed like he really, really did not want to be talking about the subject. Its nice that someone has the guts to ask McCain the question, though the MSM has given McCain a huge free pass overall on his affair.

5. Well as a serial adulterer I guess McCain is hesitant to criticize others for the same conduct...
... and in McCain's case there is written proof in the form of a marriage license he obtained to marry Cindy while still married to his first wife.

11. I wonder about that.

In OK, you have to be divorced to obtain a marriage license or it's legally polygamy or adultery. (It's been a long time since I was told this, so I don't recall which one it is). Is it possible that his marriage to Cindy isn't legal?

6. That's the most honesty we've seen from McCain in months
He admitted to having been an "imperfect servant" and avoided the pitfalls of the fabled glass house. Obama seemed uncomfortable with the question. I think he's just not the cheating type.
