Joe “the Plumber” Wurzelbacher related to Charles “the Crook” Keating. Oops.
Source: Martin Eisenstadt's Blog

"Turns out that Joe Wurzelbacher from the Toledo event is a close relative of Robert Wurzelbacher of Milford, Ohio. Who’s Robert Wurzelbacher? Only Charles Keating’s son-in-law and the former senior vice president of American Continental, the parent company of the infamous Lincoln Savings and Loan. The now retired elder Wurzelbacher is also a major contributor to Republican causes giving well over $10,000 in the last few years."

If true, I may actually consider believing in God . . . an individual with one hell of a sense of humor. I bet George Carlin put god up to this.

14. Easy.
PR stunt, a community walk-throughj, went bad. Obama picked the neighborhood--or his campaign did--and Obama went up to him.

In short, it's not so much a question of "this guy getting up so close to Obama", as it is of "Obama getting so up close to this guy."

8. Plumber? Hmmm... This sounds all too familiar....
Has anybody mentioned the fact that Hunt, Liddy, and the other Watergate CREEPs were nicknamed the Plumbers?

11. Now there are three "Joe's"
Joe "six-pack
Joe "the plumber" (who turned out to be)...wait for it...
Joe "the plant"

Bush strategy coming from McCain, who would have thought it?
I, too, would like to know how he got so close to Obama as it's now so obviously a set-up.
