Our greatest times were when the most people were working in jobs that paid enough to live better than their parents did and to have hope for the future of their children.

The fifties and sixties were great times, wealth was spread far and wide. Since Reagan and the greed miesters took over the national discourse, we have seen the middle class shrink, the lower class increase and the upper class become so enamored by their bad selfs that they demand we worship and adorn them or else...

That sounds, to me at least, a lot like pre-revolutionary France....
