I Voted for the Next President of the United States, Barack Obama, Today!
What a great feeling! I went to my Early Voting polling place about 5 minutes after it opened, on this being the first day top Early Vote. 25 were already in line in front of me. I saw that about 5 of them had used the One Stop-Registration/Early Vote option. So about 5 new voters of the 25 there. The election workers were very professional, they explained to each voter how to fill out the ballot, and that voting Straight Ticket required an additional mark to vote for President. Here, in NC, Straight Ticket does not include Pres.

In the line, voters were passing a list of the Democrats running amongst ourselves to mark who the Dems were on the non-partisan offices, judges and such. I know that the 5 people immediately in front and the 4 immediately behind were voting for Obama and excited about it!

I proudly cast my vote for Obama/Biden, and am confident I voted for the next President and Vice-President.

I passed another polling place later in the day and the line was out the door. People are excited to elect Obama!

I sent it in with my husbands - both for Obama in the great state of Montana. Oh well. ;) It still felt good to do our part.

3. Montana is still possible.
I've got my eye on MT's numbers, you did your part, and that just might tip it to Obama!

5. We mailed our ballots today in AZ. Probably won't beat McCain here......but we voted...
In a few days we will call and check to see if our ballots were received.
