1. I've been waitin' for his head to actually explode!
Thanks, SimplyB!
I'm a greeter at the polls in Hillsborough tomorrow. So I guess I'll go ahead and vote too! And pick up my ticket to the FREE James Taylor concert in Chapel Hill on Monday! . . . I think he's in Charlotte on Sunday!

So 5 votes in the bag for Barack today in NC!!!!

2. It may explode yet. Hope you have a good day as a greeter.
I want to see James Taylor in concert Sunday to, but I got tickets to the Panthers game. Would be nice if I could find the time to do both. Also you can make that +9. All my grandparents voted absentee for Obama!

4. Set the scene for us..........
I've read a couple of post on here today about long, snaking lines.

What area of NC did you vote in and are you seeing the same huge turnout?

5. I live in Gaston County in a small town called Bessemer City.
Had maybe 60 people in line when I got there at 5:00, and one of the poll workers said that they had been like that all day today. She told me that she had not seen this many people early voting since we began doing it. I fell really good about it. I have never had to wait in a line to vote before at my polling station.

7. Harnett County, NC today
I didn't get a final tally today, but there were 700 people that had cast ballots by around 2pm today. Lines out the door.
