3. Okay, so does McCain give up on PA, or does he fight for it to the end?
I think he stays in PA to the end, because he has cornered himself into having to win there.

Thorndale, PA. I almost freaked when I saw it on the news. Eeeew. McBlinky... less than 5 miles from my house. :puke:

28. Yes, they are campaigning here.
Cindy McCain will be in the area this Saturday according to tonight's local newscast at 11PM. I have no idea why.

31. I still don't understand the McCain strategy
MN, WI, and MI have been much closer than PA. Why did he abandon MI, WI, and MN but continue to burn up time and money in lost causes states like Iowa and Pennsylvania?

17. he should give up
focus on the Bush states. very difficult but not inconceivable that he could barely win enough of them to pass 270. he has no shot in PA.

12. Why is Pennsylvania so much better than Ohio?
I can't understand the disparity. The two states have a lot of similarities.

21. The difference might be Philadelphia
Ohio doesn't have a major East Coast port city. Without Philly, Pennsylvania would be a whole lot more Ohio-like.

13. Most dems I know here only are for Obama
because they are afraid of what will happen to the Supreme Court if he is not elected.

Think about THAT!!!!!!

If Obama fails to deliver, PA will be his worst enemy in 2012.

19. Don't tell the McCain campaign, they're spending more time there than anywhere else.
I have no idea why two or three weeks ago they didn't circle the wagons around the Bush states. They seem to have a lot more appearances in PA than in VA. Incomprehensible.

20. If he is that high in PA..
that means he is improving in the Southern part of the state. Thus, why his numbers are improving in WV. It's the same demographic. Plus 60% of WV is in the media markets of Ohio, PA, and Virginia.

25. The sad thing for McCain is him and Palin have been camping out here
and their numbers are going down. They literally have had 5 events in the past two weeks to Barack and Joe's one and the citizens of PA have said Fuck you.

27. I think the thing is...
..that PA folks expect to be able to say 'Fuck You' to somebody, and have the person accept it appropriately.

The way pubbies have been playing is that they don't want to deal with abrasion, or confrontation, they only want praise.

Praise don't sell in PA, they want a candidate who can hear 'Fuck You' and respond: 'Well, fuck you too, wanna talk about getting some shit done around here?'

29. It's good to hear McCain is still wasting time there
And it looks like they are going to abandon the upper midwest great lakes states (MN, IA, WI).

Money and time spent in PA is that not spent in FL, VA, OH, NC, NV, CO, etc.
