3. I know it's convenient to vote with an absentee ballot

but I kind of find it exciting to go and vote in person. Plus, I still have something to look forward to on Nov. 4 :)

Of course my previous voter registration was in Texas, so it's not like Obama's going to carry my state, but there is a chance that Noriega can knock off Cornyn in the Senate, and I'm hoping that Rep. Lampson can keep his seat in heavily-'Lican Sugar Land (DeLay's old district, won in 2006 after the bug-man's excretion from the Congress).

11. Best vote ever!

At 57, this was the vote that was truly exciting.
Filled it out as soon as I got it into the house - our county is all absentee.
Will drive it to the drop-off tomorrow.

12. I voted today to get ready to begin driving people to the

polls to vote. In the years that I've been driving people to the polls, I've never seen this satellite station as busy as it was today. I hope that this is a good sign. :bounce:

Most of the people that I pick up are elderly, use walkers or wheelchairs, and I was wondering how this will go. They vote early to try to avoid long lines and long waiting times. We'll see how it goes.
